PM Modi distributes over 70,000 job letters to newly recruited personnel

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed over 70,000 job letters to newly recruited personnel at a "Rozgar Mela" in Ahmedabad. The event was organized by the Gujarat government.

Addressing the newly recruited personnel, PM Modi said that the next 25 years are very important for India and that the government is working to create a conducive environment for the youth to achieve their dreams. He also warned the youth about the ills of dynasty politics and nepotism in the recruitment process.

"Dynastic parties have betrayed the youth by encouraging corruption and nepotism in the recruitment process. While such parties looted the youth with their rate cards for various posts, our government is working to safeguard their bright future," said PM Modi.

He also highlighted the recent "cash-for-jobs scam" in a state where rate cards were fixed for every post. Without taking names, PM Modi also referred to the "land-for-jobs scam" where a former Railway Minister of the country had acquired land in exchange for a job.

PM Modi also said that the Rozgar Mela is becoming a new identity of the BJP government. "This is a new initiative of the government to provide employment opportunities to the youth. We have already organized Rozgar Melas in 44 states and union territories, and over 1.5 lakh people have been recruited through these melas," he said.

The Prime Minister also said that the government is working to create an environment where the youth can start their own businesses. "We have launched the Startup India initiative to promote entrepreneurship among the youth. Under this initiative, we have provided financial assistance to over 60,000 startups," he said.

PM Modi also said that the government is working to improve the skills of the youth. "We have launched the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana to provide skill training to the youth. Under this scheme, over 4 crore people have been trained so far," he said.

The Prime Minister also said that the government is working to make the education system more job-oriented. "We have launched the National Education Policy to make the education system more job-oriented. Under this policy, we will focus on providing vocational training to the youth," he said.

PM Modi concluded his address by saying that the youth of India have the potential to change the world. "The youth of India are talented and hardworking. They have the potential to change the world. I am confident that the youth of India will take India to new heights," he said.

The Rozgar Mela in Ahmedabad was attended by over 1 lakh people. The event was organized by the Gujarat government in association with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

The Rozgar Mela is a part of the government's efforts to provide employment opportunities to the youth. Under this initiative, the government is organizing Rozgar Melas in all states and union territories. The government is targeting to provide employment opportunities to over 5 lakh people through these melas.
